One of Those Magical After Story Moments

Yesterday was one of these magical after story moments and I wanted to share.…one of my dearest friends on the planet is in from Colorado.

Last year when she came we went to the beach and I could barely walk. Sort of mind bending for a life long extreme athlete.

Two hip replacements this year, and We walked ALL day, and I had worked out hard for two hours before I saw her!!! We danced, we laughed and I realized that my legs can really do mostly anything I was asking them to including “really" dancing for the first time. Felt like I was in a new world. And I am!!! Total Reinvention.

It was my “after" story, and when we just see the after story, ie. You see me, me beaming with joy to have legs that walk and dance, and a lifelong friend that I’m so grateful for, you might miss the hard times that I fought through to get to that after moment. I share this because I want YOU, YES YOU this to have your moment too!!!

I want you to have Your after story, but understand if there anything you REALLY want and you don’t already have, it might take a lot.

It might take much more then you think. You might be afraid…. I hear you….. do it anyway!

It might feel you don’t know how…. I hear you, keep going with that next doable step.

You might feel it’s too hard.. you can endure hard things.

I have my life back. I’m so glad I didn’t stop when it all felt to hard, too scary, too impossible.

If I did I wouldn’t have been able to tell you, you can do that very hard ass mo' fo' thing. AND YOU CAN!!

There have been some very hard things happening the last few years.. I KNOW…..friend, I have been there.

Today is your new day

Be courageous!!!

Do your thing…. it’s ok if it’s scary…. You can do scary stuff.
