Celebrate how far you have come to get where you want to go!!

On achieving amazing things:

Today I’m in London to see my beautiful sis give the graduation address at her (2nd) master's degree ceremony.  Yup, she blows me away on the regular!

Her most eloquent speech (in front of 800 people in the most amazing cathedral) spoke about looking at how far you’ve come vs. how far you have to go… so profound, just like her. 

See…when we were growing up, Genevieve was very shy and stuttered.  (I have her permission to share this). If we talked about this day when we were kids, she would have said there is nooo way that could be in my future. Today she would have been unrecognizable to her past self. 

She spoke with confidence, grace, elegance, fierce intellect, and presence. 

Life can be full of unexpected twists and turns, and it's not uncommon to face challenges or setbacks that can leave us feeling discouraged or overwhelmed. That’s ok…. it’s totally normal, but if you follow your spark, that inkling that excites your soul with passion…. it will lead you to you straight into your zone of genius.  The place where you are courageous enough to take bold action despite feeling afraid. 

When feeling like a goal is too much, and you are not sure what to do next…. 

Just pick the next baby step in front of the next. Then Repeat.  Ask what the next step will move the needle forward. These regular and repeated actions will pave the way for massive progress toward your goals.
